Used to Help Families All Over Wyoming
SIX OF THE FAMILY GAMES WERE SUCCESSFULLY TESTED AND PROVEN IN WYOMING
September 26, 2005 was National Family Night, an encouragement for families to start eating together as a family again. The concern arises out of our nation's problems with delinquency, drug and alcohol abuse, unwanted pregnancies, etc. All of these and other social problems are directly related to family breakdown and poor relationships in the family. In Wyoming, the Governor's Wife sponsored Family Night and used 3,000 of our Great Family Conversations Tool Kits statewide.
Prior to that, the organization Faith Initiatives of Wyoming worked with churches, synagogues and secular community centers throughout the state. Each sponsoring organization held 3 family nights over a 3-week period where they had families come in and eat a meal and play the game grids. This was so popular that children often begged for the nights to continue. And, then, the governor's wife printed up 3,000 tool kits for National Family Night 2005.
Over 6,000 families used The Great Family Conversations Tool Kit in Wyoming.
