Outreach and Evangelism Strategy

This outreach strategy follows the method Jesus used of going out to the people rather than inviting them to the synagogue.  It is quite different from the usual approach that invites people to programs at the church.

This strategy of giving out free family and couple communication games is rather simple. Your members just give them out to the people with whom they naturally come in contact, friends, neighbors, people at work and relatives.  Children can give them to friends at school.

If you have any business people in your church, they can put out games for free pickup in their stores or offices.

This is very easy and it can reach throughout your town or city.  Thousands of outreach contacts are possible.

A MONTHLY TOUCH OF LOVING CONCERN

The plan is for the non-churched friends, relatives, neighbors, and people at work to receive a different fun communication game each month or once every other month.  That means that over months families and couples will see that your church cares for their relationship success.

You will be offering something that most parents will value because they want their family to be a success and their children are most important to them.  The games will be sought out by parents who see the many skills the games can give their children.

Also, couples will see the value to their relationship.  Personally, I cannot think of anything better to build bridges with people who do not know the Lord or do not attend a church.

Imagine the effectiveness of one of your church families conducting their own family's critical ministry of helping families, marriages and kids.
For example:

Dad knows a guy at work who worries about his family, so he decides to bring a different family communication game to him each month so that his work buddy can do more than just worry.

Mom knows a neighbor down the street who wants her kids to get the best chance at success in life. So, Mom is delivering the church's monthly family communication game.

Brother has a friend at high school who is willing to try to get his family talking and getting along better, so he is in on the action.

And Sister has a best friend in elementary school who enjoys talking and getting attention from her parents. So Sister has easily enrolled her friend to take a communication game home for family fun. (Jesus knows that Sister's friend's family is in trouble, and He is very glad to have His Light shine through Sister who becomes, through her obedience, the light of the world to that troubled marriage.)

Bob hears from a friend at work that his marriage is in trouble, that his wife complains that he is emotionally distant.  So, he gives a couple communication grid with his church's information at the bottom.

Once people are sure of your sincere concern for them as evidenced by month-after-month contact at the time the next communication game is delivered, they will consider your church and what you have to say.
